Mixing it Up

Potentially the title of this show refers to the possibilities my presence in the same show as Jules DeBalincourt presents. There is something disconcerting about being in the same shows/benefits as any of Zack Feuer's artists. I wonder what he must think, but it's probably something along the lines of "oh for fuck's sake!" Well, only Danica Phelps showed up at the Lower East Side Printshop Benefit Auction, but it might have been awkward for him to show up in support of Dana's donation since Danica is, well, on her own these days...

Note: The opening was very civil. In fact, I don't think Jules has a clue who I am or he has a sense of humor and realizes that the issues exist in my art. It all turned out to be much more of a Hunter alumni reunion of sorts and we ended up at the Subway Inn for some beers before I headed back to Brooklyn. Anyway, the show is up for a month so check it out if you happen to be near Lex and 68th street.
